Based in Colchester, Essex Iced and a Slice was created in a warm kitchen in February 2004 by cake enthusiast Caroline Woodcock.

Caroline began supplying two shops in the town with their day to day sponge cakes, traybakes and cookies as well as baking cakes for friends and family members, including her own children.

Caroline's skills were developed at evening classes where she studied part-time for 3 years and learnt all about sugarcraft flower making and modelling. What started out as a hobby has now turned into a growing business with a great portfolio of cakes.

All Iced and a Slice cakes are made using quality, fresh ingredients with no additional additives or preservatives.

Iced and a Slice can also cater for parties with a selection of homemade goodies for both children or adults including:
Traybakes - Bakewell Tart, Rocky Road, Chocolate Crunch, Millionaire’s Shortbread, Chocolate Brownie,
Sponges – Victoria, Chocolate, Coffee & Walnut, Carrot, Chocolate Fudge, Orange and Coconut.
Cookies - Vanilla or Chocolate (variety of shapes), Chocolate & Fudge, Fruit & Oat Crunchies.
